The insurance company pays our commission
When you buy a policy through Christian Protection, the insurance company that issues it pays us a commission. You do not pay us a fee, ever. Life insurance prices are set by the insurer and filed with state regulators, so the price you pay is the same whether you buy through us or through another licensed agent.
Commissions differ by product and by insurer
We will be plain about this. Insurance companies pay different commissions on different products. Whole life and final expense policies usually pay an agent more than term life, and two insurers can pay different rates for similar policies.
That creates a temptation, and we manage it with three rules.
- When term life fits your needs and your budget, we tell you, even though whole life would pay us more.
- We show you every policy we quote side by side, with the price, the insurer and the main terms, so you can see why we suggest one over another.
- Our reviews of insurers we do not sell, such as Thrivent and Knights of Columbus, are written to the same standard as everything else. We say what they do well.
We do not sell your information
When you ask for a quote, your information goes to our licensed agents, and to the insurer you choose if you apply. We do not sell it to lead buyers or other agencies. Read our privacy policy.
No gifts tied to a purchase
We do not offer gifts, rebates or donations in exchange for buying a policy. Insurance laws limit these, and a good policy should stand on its own.
